Eldorado Tuxedos Upping The Ante, 6/4/97, 34.0", lilac dun pinto, Kamelots Tuxedo x Minnesota Miniatures Calander Girl

Sired by three-time Performance Horse of the Year Kamelots Tuxedo, this lightly marked lilac dun pinto mare has all the action of her famous sire. Shown only on a limited basis as a junior mare, Ante has several Grand Champion Mare awards to her credit, and placed high in both futurity and open classes at Nationals. She could easilly have followed in her famous sire's footsteps, but we felt there was more value in using her in our breeding program.

Her sire, Kamelots Tuxedo, is one of the most decorated horses in AMHR history. He was one of the first of only a handful of recipients that attained three Hall of Fame awards, in Halter, Pleasure Driving and Roadster, and he is the only horse ever to be awarded Performance Horse of the Year more than once — and he did it three times in a row!

Ante currently has a bay pinto 2003 colt (see Eldorado Recall The Dream) on her side, sired by Brewers Dynamo DreamMaker, and will be bred to Little Kings Seattle Supreme for a 2004 foal.

DNA tested and parent qualified.

DD Butterfly, 9/1/90, 32.0", palomino, Shady Acres Rusty x DD Gloria

While she doesn't have an extensive pedigree, Butterfly goes to some of the "good old" bloodlines — Shady Acres Rusty is behind many of the top horses and bloodlines today. She is a golden palomino mare that has produced beautiful, elegant and refined foals. Butterfly will be bred to Little Kings Seattle Supreme for a 2004 foal.

Kamelots Bet On The Bay, 7/7/94, 32.0", bay, Ahrens Little Bubba X Kamelots Miss Beauty

This bay mare has all the action — or more! — of her famous half-brother, Kamelots Tuxedo. On her sire's side, she goes back to Chocos Little Specks Red Boy and Chocolatico. She has a beautiful, high head with a long neck, level topline and lots of action. Her 2000 filly by Bonsai (see Eldorado Bonsai Bet Me A Buck) will make a superb halter and driving mare. Betta will be bred to Grosshills Rogues Mountain Man, a cremello Glenns Southern Rogue son, for a buckskin foal in 2004.

DD Patty Faye, 7/10/86, 32.5", silver chestnut, Winks Jingles x sorrel

A fancy silver chestnut mare with high action and super conformation Patty goes back to old foundation bloodlines on her sire's side — Iowas Little Kernel and Winks Decision. Shown only a few times as an older mare, she was several times a Grand Champion mare, proving that qualify is oftentimes more important than length of pedigree.

Her 1999 filly, Eldorado Tuxedos Escapade, did very well at AMHR Nationals as a weanling and yearling, placing high Top Tens in both futurity and halter in huge classes. We repeated that cross again, and have kept a silver chestnut gelding for our show string. We are so happy with that cross that we will repeat the cross to Kamelots Tuxedo again for a 2004 ffoal.

HCM Navajos Silhouette, 5/7/93, 30.5", black, X Calibers Little Navajo x Lucky Four Domino Fancy

Silhouette’s sire, the famous black pinto X Calibers Little Navajo, was the 1988 AMHA Reserve National Grand Champion Stallion, and she goes further back to the famous Bond Showboy. Her 1997 filly, Eldorado Dark Crystal, was AMHR Champion All-Star Weanling, and Dark Crystal and Silhouette were the All Star Champion Mare and Foal the same year. In 2002 she produced Eldorado Bonsai Buckerella, an outstanding buckskin filly sired by Little Kings Buckeroo Bonsai. Silhouette will be bred back to Bonsai for a 2004 foal.

X Calibers Korbel Special Reserve, 5/5/92, 32.25", sorrel, Little Bits Crown Royal x X Calibers My My

Korbel’s sire is Little Bits Crown Royal, a bay roan driving horse supreme (deceased). We consider ourselves lucky to have been able to add two of only three Crown Royal daughters to our broodmare band. Crown Royal goes back to Tuckaways Little Fella, as well as to Chiefs Hershey Bar and Starlites Chief, well known appaloosas.  Korbel's dam's pedigree is heavily Soat and Komoko. Korbel’s first filly for us was a palomino pinto. This sorrel mare had a gorgeous upheaded palomino Bonsai colt in 2000 (see Eldorado Bonsai Pass The Buck) and a lovely Turbo colt in 2002 (Eldorado Turbo Power). Left open for 2003, Korbel is checked in foal to Brewers Dynamo DreamMaker for a 2004 foal.

Philia Blazes Tabasco Bay, 7/1/96, 33.5", bay, Flying W Blue Boys Blaze x Pates Little Starlite

Tabasco was in foal to National Grand Champion Ima Boones Little Buckeroo Too when we bought her, and that filly, Eldorado BTU In A Heartbeat, will be incorporated into our breeding program. Tabasco was purchased specifically to linebreed to our Blue Boy son, Flying W Farms Blue Dynasty, although she will also be bred to other of our stallions in future. Her 2002 colt by Dynasty (see Eldorado Back Street Blues) has his beautiful Arab style head and neck, as well as the flat topline and great conformation of both his sire and dam. Tabasco will be bred to Grosshill Rogues Mountain Man for a 2004 foal.

Little Kings Madame Sphinx, 5/5/97, 30.5", bay roan pinto, Stouts Big Mac x Stouts Snow Anna

This bay roan pinto goes seven times in four generations to Stouts Mister Pride and twice to Stouts Mona Lisa. We loved her dam, but couldn't buy her, so bought this oh-so-similar daughter instead. The Stout/Buckeroo cross is one of Little Kings "magic" crosses, so we bought Sphinx to bring into a similar program. She will be bred to the cremello stallion Grosshill Rogues Mountain Man for a 2004 foal.

Little Kings Spring Pink Supreme, 7/9/89, 27.0", red dun, Komokos Little King Supreme x lITTLE kINGS pINK lACE

Everybody loves Pinky. We were just lucky enough to be there when Little King decided to let her go. A double-bred King Supreme daughter, we bought her to breed to our "Buckeroo bred" horses (the Little King "magic" cross) as well as to outbred stallions to bring back into the line. She's tiny, but has great proportion of leg to body, and a pretty head to boot! She has no problem getting in foal or foaling. She will be bred to Little Kings Buckeroo Bonsai for a 2004 foal.

Boones Little Blue Bird, 7/18/86, 32.5", smoky black, Chocos Little Specks Red Boy x Tinkerbelle

While registered as a blue roan, our best guess, based on what she has produced, is that Blue Bird is really a smoky black. Since her pedigree is basically unknown and/or unregistered, it's virtually impossible to gather information from there. We bought her based on her conformation and production history. For example, her 1998 black filly by Little Kings White Russian was one of the high selling horses at the 1999 Event sale. Her first foal for us, also by Little Kings White Russian (a cremello Buckeroo son) (see Eldorado Russian Roulette) is stunning — long legged, smooth, gorgeous head, level topline with a great hip. While her 2002 filly by Little Kings Turbo Buck is on the sale list, she'll stay on the show string with National Champion potential written all over her! We kept Blue Bird open for 2003, but will breed her back to Little Kings Turbo Buck for a 2004 foal.

Eldorado BTU In A Heartbeat, 3/28/00, 00.0", bay, Ima Boones Little Buckeroo Too x Philia Blazes Tabasco Bay

This bay mare with a heart on her forehead is sired by BTU, the famous buckskin AMHA 1996 National Grand Champion Stallion. Her dam's sire is Flying W Blue Boys Blaze, who also sired Philia Blazes Joe Dandy, the 2000 AMHA National Champion Stallion 32-34". Blaze is double bred Flying W Farms Little Blue Boy.  Hearbeat is very upheaded and alert, with the long legs to make a driving mare.

Heartbeat was only shown twice as a junior mare. Her very first show was AMHR Nationals in 2000 where, out of a strong class of around 45 horses, she placed 3rd. In January 2002 she was shown at the National Western Stock Show Miniature Horse Show, where she was Champion Junior Mare and Grand Champion Mare.

While she is on the sales list, she is of such out-standing quality that she will go into the broodmare band until such time as she is sold. She will be bred to Kamelots Tuxedo for a 2004 foal.

DNA tested and parent qualified.

Eldorado Bonsai Bet Me A Buck, 4/27/00, 35.5" (AMHR only), bay, Little Kings Buckeroo Bonsai x Kamelots Bet On The Bay

For those who breed B division horses, this mare would make an awesome addition to a broodmare band after you take her to Nationals and let her clean up there. She will make a beautiful driving mare — after all, her sire WAS AMHR Performance Horse of the Year! — as well as a great halter horse. She has the potential to win BOTH Halter and Performance Horse of the Year, and maybe a National Grand title to take home, too! Until someone takes that opportunity, Bet Me will stay on our show string and be started driving.
